Torray,

Of course, April 1991. Was that on telly as I have a vague recollection of
following it live on Irish TV at the time?

There was the infamous 6-4 against Preston, midweek 5 or 6 years ago, having
led 4-1 at some stage in the first half.

James.

The only other 5-4 scoreline I can see was a defeat to Liverpool in April
1991. But I am no stats expert!

There was also a 9 goal, 6-3 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in October 1987. A
7-2 defeat to Stoke in December 1986. A 6-3 victory over Grimsby in October
1948. A 6-3 defeat to WBA in October 1934. And a few others.

Fellow listers,

Any ideas? I don't personally recall one in my lifetime (44 years and
counting) supporting LUFC.

A few 5-3s and 4-4s but no 5-4s!

Perhaps this is going to be our season...

HNY.
