Agree, this was a proper moment in the season. At 2-0 down at half-time I
complained that Bielsa's football is too precise for the championship. Time and
time again we showed great movement and passing but with Millwall putting 10
men behind the ball it was inevitable that at some point the 32 pass move would
break down.
How stupid was I to doubt Bielsa !
To be fair, we never deserved to be 2 down and Gary Rowett's assessment after
the game that Leeds were the best team they had played and that they were
totally outplayed was fair.
Kiko - 5. One good save but he should have come for their first and in general
he is one of the main reasons why we look like we're going to concede from
every set piece.
Ayling - 5. Poor schoolboy defending for their first goal. Ballwatching. Yes he
contributed at times going forward but the way he rushed in for their pen shows
that defensively he is lacking. Also his distribution at times is shocking.
He's an average championshio right back but we need better than that at the
moment.
Allioski - 9. Man of the match for me. Great composure, pace, crossing, link up
play. When the opposition aren't attacking this is the perfect role for him.
White - 7. Generally solid but as with everyone , one or two moments from set
pieces.
Cooper - 7. You could see him panicking in the last few minutes. We've lost
confidence at the back.
Dallas - 6. I'm convinced he's not a central midfieder. He started brightly and
had a decent shot but he didn't really contribute in a great 2nd half for us.
Hernandez - 8. Not quite back to his old self but he was all over the place.
His distribution ranged from the pin-point 40 yard pass across the park to a
misplaced 5 yard square ball. It was good to see him back to glimpes of his old
self and score a goal.
Harrison - 7. Really poor first half in which he just didn't figure but he got
stronger
Klich - 8. I thought this was probably his best performance for some time.
Strong running from midfield and covering more ground than usual in the absence
of Philips. Missed a sitter and his goal awareness appears to have deserted
him.
Bamford - 8. First half he played like he's played for the last 10 games -
getting into decent positions but never looking like scoring. Second half he
got his goal and then started to show how much of a confidence player he is,
pulling balls out of the sky and looking like the good player he can be. Both
goals were strikers goals and does this mean that big Kev is going to be facing
a spell on the bench Eddie style ? Can't drop Bamford now can you ?

What a performance in that second half!
