Yeah, Bowen would have been able to go straight into the team. Was it
£15m he went for in the end? I don’t think we have the financial clout to pay
that much up front, which is why we’ve ended up with a loan to buy.How are we
feeling about tomorrow?I was convinced that as soon as I bet a fiver on Leeds
to not go up at 4/1, my poor betting record would all but guarantee promotion.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be working so far!It would be so Leeds to win
tomorrow and Tuesday after losing last week.I’m nervous and not confident at
all but I hope the players see this for what it is - a massive opportunity to
take control of the promotion places.

Poveda came on and showed one or two good touches but also some poor ones.
Always hard to read too much into these games but Poveda and Big Kev don’t look
like they’ll be troubling Bamford, Costa or Harrison too soon. How
disappointing that we could sign a player ready to go ? Bowen would have been
my preference.
