It sounds to me like he’s preparing the ground for moving on - all the fans are against me etc - he works in PR doesn’t he, so he’ll know precisely the likely results of making statements like this.
Unfortunately for us, and him, he doesn’t have the money to invest in the 2 or 3 players who could take us to the next level. It’s alright him saying we’re the highest we’ve been for 16 years, but many of us can remember us as one of the best club sides in the world. Some of the football we’ve played over the last 2 years has been awesome, and it’s not unnatural for fans to believe we can go to the next level - maybe Radz is content to stay where we are?
