Anyway, I’m hoping it will get better than this, in 7 points time, but what a great result and some massive games from the team. Costa - probably his most effective game for us today, and what a time to deliver on some of his undoubted potential. Bamford - an immense game, so much effort, a great goal, unlucky not to get another. And what a set of goals - Hernandez’s was sublime. They didn’t harm our goal difference either. I laughed at Coopers post match press conference, when he said he hadn’t enjoyed any of the recent games - too stressful. I’m with him on that, but hopefully he’ll look back on today with some pride. But for me, there is one single player-change which means I’m not bricking it everytime the opposition have the ball, and that is the absence of Casillas! Meslier is still work in progress, his distribution is improving, but the fact he doesn’t induce panic is a massive plus. Casillas’ ban came at absolutely the right time. Bielsa - I did a double-take at the re-introduction of Dallas & Costa, but absolutely concede it worked magnificently, although I have to say, in a none-snidey way, that Douglas’s corners are far more effective than Phillips’ floaters. 7 more points - it sounds so straightforward???
