Older listers may recall how flights of blue-and-yellow macaws appearing over our terrace in Caracas in 1997 proved to be harbingers of a (slightly) glorious FA Cup run which saw us eliminate Palace & Arsenal before ignominiously losing at home to Portsmouth in the 5th round (on a day when the macaws failed to appear.)
