For some reason I’ve not kept up with the list for a week or so, and missed lots.
So sorry to hear of Guy’s passing. Not seen him for a long time, but always enjoyed his company. It all seemed so sudden! Regarding the team. Yes a great performance v Leicester, with Rafinha my man of the match. Bamford had a god game too and everyone really. Everton game was tougher, but a really good 2nd half which we deserved a draw from in a way. I am really warming to Rafinha. His vision of the quick pass is brilliant. I think playing on the right cutting in enables him to find unexpected space. His work rate has improved, and he has stopped giving the ball away cheaply. I’m not so keen on Rodrigo for some reason. I find myself moaning at him more often than praising him. He needs a goal or 2 to get him going. Struijk is making a decent job of Right CB as a left footed player. Normally the experienced centre back would swap sides, but Cooper is very uncomfortable on that side so fair play to the youngster. He was probably most at fault for Everton’s 1st goal though, not dropping to cover the near post area. It does look promising that we will get enough points to stay up, so no need for panic buys, and evaluate over the summer. Koch. Llorente, Cooper and Strujk may be enough for next season , but if the newbies can’t get fit perhaps a Jansson type would help with corners etc., at both ends. Could do with a win v Palace to keep things ticking over, as Arsenal seem to have improved since we last played them. KOT. UK Shared Business Services Ltd.
