It was a good result, which in fairness could have swung either way easily.
Let’s remember, their keeper saved their skins twice with two excellent saves.

I saw that Meslier has now kept 9 clean sheets, which, if correct means that in
the remaining 19 games we have conceded 46 - more than 2 a game, so, when we do
let them in, we let a few in.

Also, noticed that at CHalf, Struijk has been involved in 6 of those clean
sheets, more than any other CHalf at the club - I thought the central defensive
triangle of Philips, Struijk and Llorente was excellent on Saturday. You can
see a future back 3 of Llorente, Struijk and Koch. Which pushes Ayling to a R
wing back sort of position.

Roberts is frustrating - he shows flashes, where he does something really good,
then his next touch is rubbish, or he lingers too long and gets caught in
possession - and for all that, he is not a natural finisher.

Raphinha just keeps being a rule unto himself…and long may it continue.

Rodrigo - brought on / brought off - apparently it was his longer term match
fitness that led to him brought off. He also does not look like a ’natural #9’
but his movement and passing are generally excellent.

When all said and done, I would have happily taken a draw, if offered before
the game.
