To only get one point from this game against a dreadful Newcastle team was a
disappointment and is another 2pts less than last season
Having said that, watching on Sky, we did, especially first half , look more
like our old selves - proper manic end to end chaotic Bielsaball and that was
the saving grace. Play like that every week and we will be fine
Loved the fact that in injury time, with Ayling and both wingers off, plus
Bamford limping we still went for it, creating 2 chances ( what a start that
would have been for Summerville if it had crept in ). Every other team would
have kept the ball betwen the keeper and centre halves ( or half in our case)
and run down the clock. That was good , both from an entertainment point of
view, but more importantly it shows that the players are still 100% behind the
belief system despite our dodgy start
So with Rodrigo having the best game of the season, Firpo improving again (
apart from missing a sitter ) and Summerville with an impressive cameo, I am
reasonably happy today
Yes, 2pts dropped , where was VAR for our , according to Gary Neville, nailed
on certain penalty? That could have won us the game ( they would have folded at
2 down) but plenty to be pleased about.I wish our players would put more power
in their shots - compare klitch to Maximum or whatever he is called.
Worry that Raph and Ayling both went off injured but time will tell how bad
it is
I miss the next 2 games at ER but hopefully we can pick up 6pts or at least
4.No need to panic we looked more like the real Leeds United

Thought first half we were nearly back on track. The barcodes are really shit.
There was no power and little direction to our shooting, and our defence was
poor. I did enjoy the first 43 minutes, it was good entertainment value. Our
defence is looking thin, maybe we can resign Berra !!
