Interesting comment re Whats App Graham White, as I was thinking of joining.

I still prefer this list tbh, but content has, understandably, become pretty
minimalist, so I dip into the FB group, but that only seems to be the same
10/15 people commenting.

I don’t post much in comparison to yesteryear (thank god for that I hear you
cry) - DRB, me and Guy used to post irregularly regularly to each other and I
think a bit of the list went with them :-( Guy in particular was great at
starting all manner of spurious debate, often unknowingly, and of course he
created our list off-shoot cycling group.

As for now, I actually don’t know how I feel about the good ship LUFC. It’s a
tipping point moment - Bielsa has worked miracles, the football and approach
has been amazing, but the players he’s indoctrinated are getting old/are not
good enough, Bielsa’s stubbornness appears legendary (even when wrong), and I
genuinely don’t know whether our naive brand of football can take us further -
we desperately need Bielsa.2! Will he promote our young uns, are they going to
be good enough, if we survive for another season will we become a feeder club
again as it becomes clear we can’t compete with the top 6 without huge
injections of cash.

Or is it all as straight-forward as hitting the back of the f***ing net a bit
more often ;-)
Because if we did that, none of the above would matter! Maybe?
