Regarding the striker. IMO if Dan James ever has to play there then we are short of one. It does not help that neither Rodrigo or Roberts have ever looked particularly effective standing in for Bamford either. In Rodrigo's case he has never had the benefit of a decent provider behind him, but I'd be OK with seeing the back of both of them to get a specialist 10 and proven 9 in their places. Gelhardt's time will come and I'm OK with him being no 3 striker for now, and hope he rises up the pecking order naturally.
