Re the sacking..........and how could they do it: I actually bumped into Wilko many years ago when he was on 'is 'ols in Portugal. I asked him about something about the future, and he prefaced his response with "....if I'm still in the job." This was after we had won the league. I scoffed and said something to the effect that if any manager was safe in his job it would be him, but he said you're never safe in this job. Within 6 months he had been sacked.
