What an emotional roller coaster eh? Somewhere in the 000s of things I have read over the last few days I saw someone liken losing Bielsa to losing a family pet.............and I've done both of those in the last few months!
However, I have to say that I'm getting a growing feeling that Radrizzani & Orta may just have pulled off a masterstroke. I watched Match of the Day on rerun the other night when I couldn't sleep, and it was hard not to draw the conclusion that being brutally honest, the time was right for St. Marcelo to leave. And as much as I was underwhelmed by Jessieboy at first, the more I read about him the more I think he might just be the right fellow. I think it may all hinge on whether the players will accept him............can an American have any credibility? There was a great article in the Guardian about the barriers and prejudices an American coach will have to battle in England. As if he hasn't got a tough enough job! (He certainly talks a good game, but I have worked with enough Americans down the years to know that the substance often does not match the rhetoric!) This Leicester match (or "Liechester" as Jessieboy probably calls 'em) is going to be veeeeeeery interesting! I don't really care about winning actually (much as we need the points)............I'll just be happy if we can get to h-t and not be 3-0 down for a change! _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ Rest in Peace Guy, and wear your hat!
