Well I've seen today's team and guess what. Bamford injured, Joffy not selected.
So if Marsch does not think Joffy is good enough to start, how can the very idea of signing a striker be impeding his progress? James and Rodrigo have proved they are not C.Forwards time and time again. Does Marsch really believe they don't need backup for Bamford, who is going to take a while to get up to full fitness, or is he covering for the complete inability of Orta etc to make any progress? Of course it is precisely the same for the left back position. Apart from the fact that even when Firpo gets fit it will take 2 games or less to realise he us not up to it either.
