Having lived overseas for 4 decades and only getting to a couple of games per year at best (and being a bit unlucky in the games I have seen) I reckon today's match was the best game and the best atmosphere I have witnessed since the 1975 semifinal win over Barcelona!
The playing of the K Chiefs after we win has also rather crept up on me........ but today it was amazing with the whole stadium singing along and the players dancing on the pitch. As for the game itself..........the 2 Americans were magnificent as was Koch .(I am so cross about the stupidity of this World Cup I am planning to boycott it but I will watch Eng v USA and I think I'll be supporting the latter!) After our record last season in games v the "Big 6" (P 12.....L 12 with over 40 goals conceded) to win our first such game this year 3 0 is fantastic!
