I think the Liverpool game finally proved to me that the team only have perhaps 8 or 9 players of trustworthy premiership quality. Of those, 4 are injured or not up to. Speed. Wöber, Rodrigo, Dallas, Adams. 4 are wingers and Robin Koch in defence.
The amount spent on players like Llorente, Firpo, Roca, James, Aaronson, Ritter and even Rodrigo, who will all only have a fraction of their cost in resale value, means that we will never be able to sign more that 3 or 4 of the 8 players the squad needs to be comfortable next season, assuming we manage to stay up somehow.
