Kind of agree with John and Rich. It might be a bit much to expect a promotion push this season, as it will be a miracle if we have a decent balanced squad in the available timescale. I hope Farke will be given 2 seasons, especially as the 2nd year parachute payment is still pretty good.
Can’t see many of Leeds’ deserters claiming a first choice berth at any premier league clubs, possibly just squad members. Some such as Roca and Llorente will have to go abroad to attain top flight football. Can’t see why we are considering loaning players out. We don’t want anyone back, who is not prepared to try and get us out of this league. Try to get what we can for them. I think many of the deserters will be surprised at how limited their opportunities are and may find nobody wants them. I realise that freeing up wages is an issue, but it would be very remiss if there was no relegation clause in their contracts, reducing wages.
