it is going to be interesting to see if our new owners will stick to their guns
or are all mouth and no action. The statement could not be any clearer or more
emphatic but all the usual media are ignoring that and still say he is off to
Everton , a couple of click bait ones even report that " leeds have named their
price"
I hope they refuse to pay his wages if he is in breach of contract and stand
firm , players have too much power. Not sure where it all leaves gnonto , fans
will find it hard to accept him back at ER , and if i were relegation-fighting
Everton i would worry that he could ' spit his dummy out' if tnings go poorly
so a big gamble
Here is the " he is going nowhere " club official statement

"Earlier this week, Willy Gnonto and his representatives were informed by the
club that he would not be sold this summer.

Following those conversations, Willy felt he was unable to play in Wednesday
night’s Carabao Cup tie with Shrewsbury Town.

Despite training for the last two days, Willy has informed Daniel Farke that he
still does not feel able to play this weekend and has not travelled to
Birmingham for the game tomorrow.

This is now an internal disciplinary matter and the club will make no further
comment, other than to reiterate that Willy Gnonto is not for sale."
