Just reflecting a bit more:

Piroe - was pish yesterday, anonymous. He is probably the best pure
finisher we have…and brings nothing else.
Summerville… given the ball standing still, with 3 men to beat, because
half-decent coaches know if they stop him they go half way to stopping
us… and this is the problem with the relentless passing across the back
5, our best front guys need to hit the defence at speed, get them off
balance, cause some chaos, but with this pass pass pass, they can set
their defence, get organised and are much harder to break down. On
paper we have by far the best attacking threat in the league (include
Byram, Firpo and Roberts in that too)… what we should do for the last 3
games is let them loose, get the ball to them and risk it. It all
depends how tired (mentally and physically) they are, and also how
scared we are as a team
Bamford - someone described him as a “streaky” player… and we are in a
downturn, whereas 2 months ago he was on a goal a game… I can see this
being his last season with us. He moves defences around, but he needs
service to score, he won’t create chances for himself.
James. - A good full back who marks him properly, deals with him
Rutter - who I do really like - is however currently in the running for
the Paolo Wanchope award of no can mark him because no one, least of
all himself, knows where he’s going or what he is about to do
Gnonto - looked most likely yesterday, then got subbed (maybe he was
struggling), but he is at least direct and willing to pop a shot
Anthony - looks decent, but is behind the other 3 wingers
Joseph - nice cameos…do we go with a raw 20 year at this stage?
Joffy - does a lot of warming up…
Also, taking Gruev off, left a huge hole that they walked through.
Devon Lock, Devon Lock riding through the glen…
   Nick
PS: it doesn’t take much for ‘the best supporters in the league’ to
become a right bunch of moaning bastards.

Harsh. Yes he had a really bad game today but over the last few
weeks, when we’ve looked shit, he’s been the only one who looks like he
can still make things happen. In fact, it must be difficult
for him when our main tactic is to give the ball to him and ask him to
beat 2 or 3 men consistently.
I think if you’re looking for disappointing players you’ve got to look
at Piroe, who offered nothing as a no 9 and I’d offload him now or
Bamford (and I was a fan) who came on and did nothing other than look
   for a pen.
Or Rutter, who looked like a world beater a month ago , but now looks
like a non-league trier. I was actually starting to think that this guy
was another Cantona but what’s happened? You can’t blame it on the
operation because it started before then - he was awful against Town.
Maybe it’s an injury ? Not sure but he’s not worth his place in the
   team at the moment.
Very disappointing today, I couldn’t even stay out for drinks I was
that pissed off. Farke’s substitutions were mystifying and totally
messed with our rythmn. How can you take out 2 best players off -
Gnonto and Gruev ? Were they both struggling? Didn’t look like it to
   me.
You don’t get more Leeds than today.
Can’t see us winning another game - I put that in to make me look like
a cunt when we get promoted !
Chateauneuf-du-Pape tonight - got to cheer yourself somehow on days
   like this. FFS !

Summerville has the potential to play at a higher level, and has
demonstrated that on a few occasions this season. He also ‘appears’ to
have an inflated opinion of his own abilities. He is no dead-ball
expert, his passing is conditional on whether nothing is on for him, he
gives the ball away consistently, dives ALOT, and his shooting is
patchy. I find him really frustrating to watch and I am surprised
players don’t give him a bollocking for not passing quicker. I hope he
refinds the form of 2 months ago, because on todays form, he’s a waste
   of a shirt.
I think he’ll leave whatever happens this season?
   Other opinions are available :-)
