Piroe’s contribution was to force the own goal for our second equaliser.
Without his perfectly timed run into the right spot, the defender
wouldn’t have had to make the desperate slide to try to clear the ball.
And if he hadn’t got to it Piroe would have scored himself.
But I agree Piroe didn’t do a great deal apart from that.

agree with all that.
Yes we won so fuck em and move on, however it was a difficult game to
watch because there were periods where you thought they would score
everytime a ball came into our box ... and they did. There's not many
teams that play like that against us so we're usually pretty comfortable
in defence but if teams do have a go then I think Rodon and particularly
Struijk will need to be a lot better.
Aaronson and Piroe were poor with the latter not really contributing at
all apart from giving the ball away. I'd give Bamford a go.
Farke now starting to have an embarrassment of riches with Largie,
Willy, Solomon and James all competing for 2 places but are there
different options to consider ? For instance, Willy playing as a no 9
striker or even playing as a 10 ? or Largie as the 10 with Willy up
front as 9. Got to be be better than Piroe / Aaronson at the mo,
although I do like Aaronson's work rate even if it comes to not very
much most of the time. I do think James and Solomon ultimately are our
two best out and out wingers.
Luton at home - banker surely ? Ha ha , you just know what's going to
happen, they'll discover a bit of their PL spirit for the night.

Amidst the 3 points and general glow of being top, I have to say I
wasn’t overly impressed with Rodon on either the 1st or 3rd Swansea
goals. Ok, Struijk at fault too for their 3rd, but they need to show a
bit more awareness of who’s around them!
If Solomon can stay fit he could be, ahem, a game-changer. I bet
Rothwell’s a bit miffed - he runs his bollocks off yet everyone thinks
it’s Tanaka who is the dogs, which he was yesterday :-)
I still don’t think the Piroe ‘tactic’ is working either - he was no
closer to affecting the game than I was!
Of course none of this matters as we won!
