Leeds United begin their Easter weekend of football with a trip to face Oxford
United away from home in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Whites will travel south for the 8pm kick-off at the Kassam Stadium looking
for a positive display, after back-to-back wins in the last two matches.

Speaking ahead of the match, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media,
beginning as always with team news for the game.

He said: “Joe Rothwell will definitely miss this weekend's games, we hope to
have him then available obviously for the final home game against Bristol City.

“With Daniel James it looks slightly better, so I think it's fair to say this,
probably have him definitely available for the Monday game [against Stoke City].

“If he is able to play a part in the game on Good Friday at Oxford, a late
decision, so we have 24 more hours. I think it's pretty, pretty likely that he
can be involved on Monday.”

Our upcoming opponents come into the match having won three out of their last
five games, moving up the table and putting a gap between themselves and the
bottom three.

“Impressive three wins in the last five games,” the manager explained,
previewing his upcoming opponents.

“An impressive win against Watford, also with a clean sheet away, and at
Sheffield Wednesday, also with a clean sheet, so it's not easy to score goals
against them.

“Gary Rowett is a very, very experienced manager. He knows this league inside
and out. He knows how to make sure that his team is competitive and they're
also well-structured, also against the ball.

“It's not easy to create chances against them, not even speaking about scoring
against them. So three of their last five opponents missed scoring, so it will
be difficult.

“A team who is, especially in their home games, always competitive. I'm pretty
sure they will play with good confidence and also with a big will to win,
perhaps the final one or three points that they perhaps need to stay in this
league.

“The challenge is big and it's a tough place to go, especially at this stage of
the season.”
