What a day - this is what it's all about.Absolutely dying today but we'll worth it.Pre match I was fairly confident and composed and kept saying we would do it- most common response was " why would you say that, have you not seen Leeds?"I also said that Piroe would surely break his barren streak So I got it right but never in my wildest imaginings did I expect what we got 6 0, 6 funking 0 in a game we needed to win. Amazing and even more surprising we did it so early and so easily We were all over them like a rash, giving them nothing to hold onto and reminiscent of Bielsaball we forced them into error after error and boy did we take advantage of it , Piroe doing what we signed him for and what he does best, putting the ball into the net. Bogle was also brilliant again, he gave their full back no time or space and kept winning the ball back.1-0 after 6 minutes, perfect start, 2-0 after 8, all nerves gone, 3 up on 20 party time, 4 and 5 before half time dreamland, then as we celebrated in the rain a lovely cross and header by Willy to really put the icing on the cakeSo job done and off back to the pub to watch Burnley v Sheff U. Atmosphere was great as the beer flowed and we knew that Sheffiled weren't going to get the victory they needed to stay in the race.Final whistle and cue pandemonium We then jumped a taxi back to ER to join the thousands there drinking and setting off flares.I even ended up on the Bremner statue a 66year old bloke acting like a giddy teenager-that's what football does to youJust brilliant and our chance to make up for not being allowed to celebrate last time.Eventually we got the train back to Manchester and as we got off the train Victoria station resounded with "Leeds are going up" as the 20 odd of us Leeds fans carried on celebrating It is what makes it all worthwhile We are Leeds and we are premier league Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected]
