How can you say fantastic signings for LUFC and not include Lucas Radebe?

realistic targets would sadly prefer (or their parasitic agents would
prefer) to sign for the likes of bleedin' Brentford or Bournemouth rather
than Leeds United. Take Delap. He would be great, and we should give
whatever Ipswich ask for him, but he'll be off to a top club.
We have pulled off 3 fantastic signings during my LUFC
lifetime.............Bobby Collins, Gordon Strachan and Raphinha. (OK
4...........Jaden Bogle!) They were all miraculous. We need another one,
but what are the chances? (OK 5...........Ao Tanaka!)
Take Jack Harrison, for example. I'm sure nobody wants to see him back in a
white shirt, but............we have him under contract. How much would we
have to pay, and indeed where would we find, a reliable, experienced PL
player of the equivalent quality?
Everyone was so ready to slam Orta when all those rats jumped ship, but if
you cast your mins back 3 years..........Radrizzani was saying "that (ie
flirting with relegation") must never be allowed to happen again", and even
though we'd sold our best 2 players, we were all happy and optimistic about
the signings of Rasmus, Aaronsson, Adams & Gnonto. They all looked like
great signings on paper, but.........
