Well that was brilliant, what a night, a mate of ours paid £408 for his ticket thinking this would be the promotion decider instead it was almost a dead rubber which could have been a real non event , instead it was fantastic I don't generally like things like scarves for the fans or any club led stuff, prefer it to come organically from the fans but the yellow scarves really worked last night to create the party atmosphere we wanted Unlike the Norwich game in the title winning season which,Rod Wallace goal apart, was an anti climax , last night was fun.The team played with a freedom and abandon we have rarely seen and totally blew the 5th placed team away - 4 0 could literally have been double figures - we battered them from start to finish in the sunshine. They couldn't live with us I think they only came into out half twice all game, once in the first half when Nanki Wells a some time thorn in our side fell over, then in the 93rd minute they mustered a shot straight at Darlow, but 45 seconds later they were picking the 4th out if their net, a long ball over the top by Gruev (?) was controlled and fired home by Largie, showing what he can do.Their keeper was magnificent with one amazing double save followed by him tipping the 3rd attempt onto the post.Best bit was the ball by Piroe to Gnontofor our second- think Pablo to Dallas away at Stoke. The game was great , the celebrations more so, each player ( Inc cairns, Chambers and Harry Gray) had their number called to rapturous applause and chanting ( OK muted for wober)Flares, music and champagne as the players and Farke danced and partiedWell done and well deserved
