The event went well with some cracking contributions from the floor. Especially from John Blythe, Dunderhead, Voicey, Chris Nickson, Mike Sewell, Jabba and at least one person who asked to join the list!
Claire and I managed to keep the audience absolutely entranced for over an hour without once mentioning Jeff Astle's daughter or Caddy missing the Real Madrid match because he had gone for a nap. We have some videos which I will check out later today. Afterwards we held a post match list meet in a pub which was nice. General agreement we need a Grandmother of All List Meets. Thanks to everyone who helped us put this together. It felt like some sort of recognition for what we have been messing about with for quite a long time. And of course it was great to be in the company of a gang of Listers, if only for one night.
