Rogers is regarded by Swindon fans as their greatest ever player. Was probably passed his best by the time he signed for Palace in the first division. Had only a handful of matches and suffered injury problems. After going back to Swindon to finish his career, he opened a Sports Shop in the town, which still bears his name I think.
