If we go into the Preston game with the matchups already decided, and if we are due to play Preston in the first round (as is currently the case) [or even if we're not], don't you think a case could be made for us to play our reserves and send them out to seriously injure as many of Preston's key players as possible? And Preston might have the same idea, so we should not play our first teamers anyway.
Apart from that, I think Blackie has a tricky choice to make between resting a number of obviously tired players on the one hand, and trying to get some form amd momentum back on the other. I'm not sure what is the best solution............but if I know Blackie (which I don't) I reckon he will steer a course somewhere between the two. Rob Heath Bangkok Khow P.S. Am expecting the playoff final to be on live out here, but I'm not sure if I'll have the balls to watch it (assuming we get into it.) It is going to be agony! _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
