Cant remember that specific incident, but maybe its because I have low
expectations to start with :)

I thought he did a decent job. My lasting recollection was the good tackle
he put in, and that he wasn't made to look a mug. I also don't remember him
looking particularly slow, just that Whalley bloke (I think it was him) is
quick! Roberto Carlos regularly gets 'skinned', but I don't hold that
against him :)

At the risk of incurring the wrath/mirth of RW, I also thought that Lewis
definitely put himself about.. was getting stuck in and doing lots of work.

I was dumping both matches to DVD one after the other so cant remember in
particular what match it was, but I think it might have been just after they
scored in the first match. I only mention it because I didn't really notice
it was him, but once I did I kept an eye on him.

If I hadn't noticed that I would have said he was anonymous throughout the
second half apart from the goal. Which just goes to show sometimes hard
work and effort can go unnoticed.
