Cant remember that specific incident, but maybe its because I have low expectations to start with :)
I thought he did a decent job. My lasting recollection was the good tackle he put in, and that he wasn't made to look a mug. I also don't remember him looking particularly slow, just that Whalley bloke (I think it was him) is quick! Roberto Carlos regularly gets 'skinned', but I don't hold that against him :) At the risk of incurring the wrath/mirth of RW, I also thought that Lewis definitely put himself about.. was getting stuck in and doing lots of work. I was dumping both matches to DVD one after the other so cant remember in particular what match it was, but I think it might have been just after they scored in the first match. I only mention it because I didn't really notice it was him, but once I did I kept an eye on him. If I hadn't noticed that I would have said he was anonymous throughout the second half apart from the goal. Which just goes to show sometimes hard work and effort can go unnoticed. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:leedslist- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Kitching > Sent: 10 May 2006 15:37 > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: [LU] Another classic from Mark > > Fair enough, there was definitely one occasion, the guy went past him, > Crainey tried to pull the guy down and fell over...that pretty much counts > as looking like a twat. > > I understand what you're saying about being negative but Crainey was poor. > David Robertson WAS worse though :) > > Mark K. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
