ARGH! This is ridiculous!

By my calculation 12,000 ST holders = 24,000 tix if they all get 2 plus 10,000 member = a total of 32,000.

If we assume that not ALL members and ST holders went down today (me and loads I know of) and not ALL ST holders got 2 then there's at least 3 - 4 thousand left SURELY?!

Subject: Re: [LU] Shaun Harvey on Radio Leeds 4pm Wednesday

Surely this cannot be right about selling out ? We got 35,000 tickets and put 33,000 on sale, we only have 22,000 members in total so there should be enough for St holders to get 2 each and members one. I dont believe every ST holder who has got to ticket office today has  bought 2 .

If correct it means I have not got a ticket - I have held a home ST every year since 1987 - bought first one after I queued for ages for FA Cup semi ticket and missed out and ended up paying £35 for a £5 ticket after having gone to all games that year.

This will be the most pissed off I have ever been at Leeds United !!!!!!!

CEO Harvey was clearly rattled when questioned at ER by a Radio Leeds reporter...

They had just closed the gates at ER, some three hours earlier than previously intimated on the website. When asked what would happen to anyone who was not already in the locked in queue, he said that he felt it was pretty unlikely that there would be many tickets left after they had processed the people already in the ground now.

Defended the two per ST on the basis that it would be nice for them to take people that don't normally attend "for a great day out" - this was in the same sentence as we want to reward our loyal members...

Clueless, basically, IMHO.
