Why would they need to go to court to take sanctions against the member? It's a private membership scheme and they are free to kick out anyone they want to really.
I don't think anything can be done legally to stop people selling their tickets on. Worse case scenario for the new buyer is that the ticked is voided and they have lost their money, worst case scenario for the seller is they lose their membership. That's why I thought it strange that the club put the thing on the website about tickets on ebay and W Yorks Police being involved.. wtf have the police got to do with anything? It was/is a scare tactic. > was done by the other guy. The one who ended up buying that second ticket > somewhere down the line. It is no good saying that the member/ST holder > who > originally bought the ticket is responsible. Just saying it will not make > it > true. As far as I know Ken doesn't yet make laws which will stand up in > court. > Come on Leeds. _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
