You'll not be surprised to hear that I don't agree
with you. You say Blackwell has been building towards
this for the last two years. I just don't see it. If
Bakke had been fit today he would have played Derry
and Bakke in an unbalanced midfield. Having watched
the first 45 mins against Norwich oyu could see that
it just wasn't working.
Well, that was pretty close to the starting formation and line up we all
wanted and when it wasn't working, Blackwell changed it.
He's yet again fallen upon a
system that works. It wouldn't surprise me if he
changed it for the next game.
One minute you criticise him for sticking with players too long, then you
suggest he's going to make changes for no apparent reason. Make your mind
up!
He doesn't learn. Rather
than Blackie actually working towards a system that
works I think the players are showing him the way.
Stone for one likes to play football and comes inside
for the ball so Crainey and Kelly don't have to punt
it long. Credit for bringing the players in but he's
got a long way to learn. Also, his defence his a big
cause for concern this season.
Today's goal wasn't down to Kelly, Butler or Crainey.
As I said at the start of the season. we'll see.
