Doubt it - the meeting's not until next Tuesday, though a 40,000 fine
after we turned down 400,000 would be suitably us:

Leeds will learn after a meeting with Premier League chiefs on Tuesday
whether Chelsea face charges for allegedly 'tapping-up' three
highly-rated Elland Road youngsters.

The West Yorkshire outfit are putting together the final pieces of their
claim against the reigning Barclays Premiership champions after alleging
they 'stole' two academy players and approached a third.

Leeds chairman Ken Bates said: 'Our evidence needs to be in place and
there will then be a meeting with the Premier League before they decide
whether they have a case to answer. We've made our position and our
complaint very clear.'

Ex-Chelsea chairman Bates has reported his former club to FIFA, UEFA,
the Premier League, the Football Association and the Football League
after alleging Chelsea made illegal approaches to three of United's
academy players in April.

England Under-16 internationals Michael Woods and Tom Taiwo have since
signed for the Londoners, while Danny Rose opted to remain at Elland
Road. Chelsea, who deny any wrong-doing, offered Leeds £200,000
compensation for each player, but Bates turned this sum down as 'derisory'.

Leeds made their formal complaint last month, but Chelsea have countered
by accusing Bates of making 'rude, insulting and inappropriate comments'
towards their owner Roman Abramovich at an Elland Road press conference.
