Well, thanks to the few people who commented on: (a) how lucky I was and (b) my dubious parentage!
Was a good night. Got there about 20 minutes after it had opened, and it was absolutely packed - no chance of getting to the bar. Then, they announced the first showing of the film for those with gold stars on their invites - needless to say, that wasn't me! So all the bigwigs went into another room to watch it, and that made it much better. Caught a glimpse of Andy Fraser, but not Simon Kirke (although he was there). Had a good old chat to Dave Clayton (the main man behind this release and others, and founder of the Free Appreciation Society), and John Buckley, guitarist with tribute band Freeway, who are brilliant. Buckley in particular is a fantastic musician. Freeway hail from the north east but are doing a couple of gigs in Essex soon. I shall forward the details on when I have them - well worth a look. They also played the film on a small screen for those of us in the bar area, so I didn't hang around too late, what with a 2-and-a-half hour journey ahead of me and work the next morning.
