For me O'Leary was lucky, he inherited some great youth players from a system set up by Wilko. Those players were brimming with confidence until the Valencia game, after that we struggled. For me the sign of a good manager is somebody who's able to pull a team out of a bad slump and get them playing well again, O'Leary never did that. He was given loads of money to spend which he spent unwisely. At Villa he was found out to be an okay manager but nothing more. Ridsdale should never have allowed a PLC to run so inefficiently.
