I agree.  If O'Leary was lucky it was only that he was lucky to have the
outstanding kids coming through and that he pretty much had to use them (no
transfer kitty).  The team spirit and style of play was down to him and
there was no luck involved.

I think he may have issues trying to motivate more senior players or
cultivate that same team spirit amongst a group of cynical old pros, but
then so would pretty much anyone else.

Above all though, he gave us some fantastic times and a fantastic team,
probably the most exciting team I can remember, and that's not just Leeds..
primarily because even though we were playing great football, the team was
still young and we could only see things getting better and better.
Exciting times indeed.  Only fucked up by a free weekend in January due to
our friends over the pennines being in that ridiculous world club
championship jolly, and Woodgate getting his pals over for a weekend out...
