...but football and LUFC aren't important any more. Not at the moment anyway.
For about 18 months my missus has been dveloping strange muscular symptoms (foot cramps, writer's cramp, slow movement and stiffness). She saw the consultant on Thursday and has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. She's only 36, and our little lad 2, for fuck's sake! To top it all the day before I went to my GP because of a blurring in my right eye. My blood pressure was 241/138. 120/70 is normal. So I was admitted to hospital. I'm home now and, to be frank, in bits - I think it's a release of tension (I've feared for a couple of months that she might have Parkinson's, but I'm only a GP and couldn't believe someone as young as her could have it.). Anyway, I doubt I'll be back at SOTG until the New Year or after and at the moment aren't even thinking about any aways. Hope that doesn't make me a part-timer... _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
