ODI record isn't the greatest, but remembering the era he played in a 36 average, including 1 ton and 9 50's in 36 matches isn't bad at all. His 147 was in a Yorkshire one dayer. Boycott is all for the 1 day scene and big hitters so long as they play it technically correct, nowt wrong wi that.
