that is clearly saying that you should not blame the whole
for the faults of a part and while i may dislike and diagree
with dubyaa, neo-cons, born agains, etc i have not said i
  hate them.
the comment about your wife was purely tongue-in-cheek
because as you extrapolated from a turkish football club to
the whole country and it's people then, if there should be
something wrong with parts of the usa, the same standard
should be applied and you should extrapolate to the country
as a whole and everything to do with it.

and before you say you say you never said *hated* the
whole country from your first mail on this yesterday:

okay, you quoted the word hate as used by someone else but you
supported it and extrapolated that hate from the club to the
  whole country and its peoples.

i have nothing against most americans. quite i few i know i
like and get on with reall well. i have nothing against the
country as a country, had some great times there.
nothing against your wife either and if i have made a similar
comment before it's only because you have done this self
same extrapolation before (again turkey if i remember) so
just trying to get to realize what you'd said.

there are aspects of the united states of america i don't
like and which i despise such as the present president and
chunks of the administraion, neo-cons and some born agains
but i have never said i hated them, either above or at any
time and just because i disagree and dislike those parts i
don't extrapolate that to the country and its people as a
whole. just read what i said.

as for comment on the stars and stripes this was just an
example to show that it's not just turks that can get fanatical
about their national flag and while there are other countries
where some people get fanatical as well (yes, even some
brits) i did choose the usa as it has abuse of the flag written
inot its penal code and it does try and protray itself as the
upholder or freedom and democracy and an example to the
rest of the world but agin that's chuncks of the administration
and some of the population (neo-cons, born agains, etc) but
i don't extrapolate to blame the whole nation.

so no-anti american fervour and certainly no hate, not even
those i dlislike and disagree with and certainly nothing against
  your wife :)

  okay?

  guy
