What makes you think he can't?

Fair question, though, so I'll answer it. He fits the profile of the sort
of player who makes a good manager: not the most naturally talented player,
but one who managed to find his way in the game and carve out a reasonably
successful career nonetheless. Players who fit that profile have often done
so
because they have been able to figure out what it takes to play the game
efficiently. The ones who do so and can communicate that to others are the
ones
who become excellent -- not merely good -- coaches.

I also believe that what we need -- along with getting rid of Master Bates
and the tragically mis-named Wise -- is someone who is Leeds through and
through and can inspire that same in the younger players upon whom we will
have to
depend. I think that Kells can do that.

That just about sums it up. Kelly. And what on earth makes you think that
Kelly could manage a paper round, never mind a football club?

Not only that, but we come back to the usual question, what are the options
for manager if not Wise?

Is it really so hard to see that if someone credible were to come in, buy
the club and infuse capital -- treat Leeds United as the fallen giant it
is...but a fallen giant that is getting back on its feet...there will be
plenty of
good options.

We could start with names we all know. Would Eddie not be an excellent
choice in the third flight? What about Kells? What about DOL? The fact
that
we're at least two seasons (and likely more) away from the Premiership
opens a
lot of possibilities.
