FFS, I wish people would stop having all this clouded by what they think
Bates is or isn't.

Right, lets say you get your way and the CVA is voted down.

Haven't we now been told HMRC will get control and either wind the club up
or find another buyer.

First leap of faith is to think the HMRC will not seriously consider the
wind up option, especially if there is a big disparity over what they might
get if they killed us off and what the best offer (for them) on the table
was.

So, assuming they want to sell as a going concern. New owners would own
right to buy back ER and TA. So anyone with an interest to sell off that
land or turn it into a Tescos car park or whatever would factor that in and
then be in a position to make the best financial offer. We then end up
ground sharing with Farsley Celtic. All that new building etc would also
mean lots of taxes for HMRC down the line, one could suggest more lucrative
for them than a football club.

In other words, if CVA voted down then literally anything could happen to
the club, potentially we get a nice arab gentleman with billions to spare
for a football hobby. However there is lots more potential for all kinds of
disasters.

The 'anyone but Bates' argument is seriously risky..

Hi
I keep reading what may happen if Bates does not manage to rip off his
creditors.
Does anyone really believe that Bates motives are to save Leeds United?
