Question to all, would you prefer Bates to regain control or option 5 below?

They have at least indicated they are interested in the business as a land
redevelopment project. Have any of the others ruled this out? Are any of
these in it for the club/sport or are they all in it for a quick buck based on
land?

Bates may have announced that he has six other very rich bidders in the
bag but KPMG have also annouced, very formally in writing to creditors
that they have five (5) Interested parties who all make provision for
"payment of the preferential creditors in full, twenty year season
tickets to be honoured and assumption of the liabilities of the football
creditors"

They consist of:

1) a consortium of UK businessmen backed by UK fund - offering just over
4 million

2) a US fund - offering up to 3 million and wanting to hold discussions
with creditors

3) a private individual - offering 6 million

4) a US fund - offering c. 4.5 million and an additional dividend
triggered by promotions

5) a consortium of UK businessmen backed by UK fund - offering 9
million (8 million of which is to Astor Investment) and a share in the
gross development profit follwing the redevelopment of Elland Road.

So just who is coming Ken and who are they dealing with? You or KPMG?

One would think the latter

Betty
