They dont represent me that's for sure, however they do represent 'the fans' to KPMG - they are a true consortium of Leeds United supporters. They would have been their only 'real fans' option.
Presuming LUST is a non-profit organisation that is. Is it? -----Original Message----- From: Matthew Anderson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 31 May 2007 13:51 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [LU] Divine Knowledge LUST to me are just another consortium. They dont and cant possibly represent all the fans. They are a group of fans trying to get control, just like Morris stubbs etc... claim/claimed to be. Other supporters trusts I have been aware of have over time turned into a bit of an Orwellian Animal farm - some fans are more equal than others which is in some ways understandable because if you get elected to the board of a fooball club you learn things, gain experience etc... that puts you at an advantage to the man who pays his £30 every fortnight and you make decisions from a position of greater knowledge etc... that the man on the terraces doesnt agree with becuase he hasnt got all the facts and in some ways (like on here) there are people who are firmly in the mix of whats going on and people in the know versus the likes of me who can only see whats in the papers, on the list and what we know based on our own experince of business. My experience tells me to always look for the other person's agenda and make a decision on their objectiveness and what i have seen before speaking to people privately off list is "people in the know" coming across as a bit smug because they are "in the know" and cant possibly tell you everything so blindly accept my opinion. Poor comunication is the root of most of the worlds problems!!! And in conclusion my children I can say that I hve shifted my view from Bates as the lesser of many evils towards a "f'ck it, what ever will be will be and in 24 hours we will presumably know what's happened and me droning on and on and challenging people to come clean aint gonna change anything. >From: "Mark Humphries" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "'John Boocock'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,"'LEEDS LIST'" ><[email protected]> >Subject: Re: [LU] Divine Knowledge >Date: Thu, 31 May 2007 12:13:25 +0100 > >We were told that the reason Krasner & his lot didn't sell to Stubbs was >because he overplayed the 'Im a leeds fan' role and that therefore entitled >him to squeeze more and more out of the deal. > >In other words trying to seek special dispensation in a business deal >purely >on the basis he was a Leeds fan. > >The question was therefore, do/did LUST somehow thing they should be >allowed >special dispensation during negotiations simply because they represent the >fans?
