As I understand it there is a FL meeting tomorrow at which our license/membership should be confirmed, and that's when we can start buying/selling players etc. That's why I put tomorrow (afternoon/eve) as the time we can start trading.
As I said, I am hoping it's just a formality because Port Vale's chairman was whingeing today about it being so unfair that we lost 10 points last season and came out of admin paying only 1p in the pound cos they had to pay 41p (or something)! Poor diddums, does-e want us to get Robbie-wobbie Williams to give you some more money? The idiot. -----Original Message----- From: Sean Emmott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 05 June 2007 14:56 To: Mark Humphries Cc: 'Sean Emmott'; [email protected] Subject: RE: [LU] Still the Best Offer for LUFC?? > In other words I don't know if the result on Monday was option 1, Bates > wins and the club can get on with business (and this 28 days period is a > formality and not taken into account by the football league), or option 2 > because the result was close and someone has requested the time to > consider. > > I personally don't think the football league could stop us trading from > tomorrow unless a challenge has actually been issued. Don't we need an FL licence? _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
