"He maybe but he may also be delighted for his friend that he has landed such a glorious opportunity."
I think that depends on whether Den knew in advance or not. The way I read it, it was all a surprise to the club and it appears that Gus was lying when he clearly stated yesterday that he had spoken to no one about it. Everyone is entitled to step up the ladder but I see no reason for deceit. Glorious opportunity???!!!! Lets wait and see. It's Spurs he is going to remember. I think the glorious opportunity was the one he was in, Gus may now become a figure of hate instead of a legend forever with Leeds fans. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Cundell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 26, 2007 8:23 PM Subject: Re: [LU] Gus Gone - official > Mike wrote: >> >> Well FUKK him Then >> Bet Den is pissed off. >> >> > > He maybe but he may also be delighted for his friend that he has landed > such > a glorious opportunity. > When you're a third division club you know you can't compete when the big > boys come calling. > Blackwell had to let Boothroyd go to a club in the same flight and my how > that one bit him on the a*se. > Even Ferguson had to let Queiroz go when a bigger club came calling. > Cheers > Paul > > > _______________________________________________ > the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators > accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors. > Leedslist mailing list > [email protected] > http://list.zetnet.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist > 6 in a bloody row! _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
