Well, if you're of a certain age, like me, it has to be someone from the 70s, and I've narrowed it down to Tinkler or Kitabdjian. I was at both games (presumably the list knows the games to which I refer) and whilst I was angry at the time, I felt more sad in 75 - but I've never got over the West Brom game and am convinced that that one decision cost us at least 2 league titles. I think the team was getting a bit old by 75 and am not sure if a win in Paris would have had the subsequent effect that others think - although it was obviously a major miscarriage of justice. There are many other candidates for the title, but my vote goes to Ray Tinkler - the bastard.
