okay, it's not your littler snuggly tucked away corner street

or rural local with the jovial mine host serving the perfect

pint and lovely cheese and pickle wedges with crusty bread.

the moon in the water (read your george orwell) they're not

I remember seeing quite a few Wetherspoons pubs called The Moon Under Water
so I wasted some of my precious time to discover.

According to Wikipedia:

The Moon Under Water was a 1946 <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1946> essay
by George <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Orwell> Orwell. In the
essay, which was published in the Evening
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evening_Standard> Standard, Orwell provided a
detailed explanation of the perfect pub, the Moon Under Water. The essay
became the basis upon which the Wetherspoons
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wetherspoons> chain of pubs were built and a
number of them still carry the name.
