Someone suggested looking beyond Central London for the pre-match drinkies.
There is a (much better than usual) Wetherspoons bar in the O Centre on Finchley Road, only a 5 minutes stagger from West Hampstead overground and Finchley Road (Jubilee/ Met). You can bet your bottom dollar that this place won't have throngs of West or South Yorkshiremen. Famous last words, eh? Just a thought. Still v. happy with general location of Marylebone Station though. Not at all sure about the Euston (Head of Steam) option.
