I appreciate Guy's sterling efforts (again) and the outcome is usually an
excellent choice. I also appreciate how time consuming and
health-challenging the research might be.

 

But I think we could shortcircuit Guy's research if we followed the
wigmeister's advice, i.e. the Wargrave. Sounds like it meets the list meet
pub criteria nicely. Providing it's not been knocked down, or turned into a
Thai massage parlour, and it's open pre-match.

 

So I'll put my bobble hat in the ring for the Wargrave.

 

Hasn't anyone got the list archives from 1996?

 

Where's James Lundon and Jon Blythe when you need them? :-)))
