Hi
Whilst driving through the Tel Aviv belt way I found myself standing
opposite the Billy Bremner Statue.
Well in thoughts anyway.
And my mind wandered. Back to the days of the Don. In the beginning we were
in the 2nd Division. Don took a bunch of youngsters and within a year we
were challenging for the double. It was pure magic. The whole City fell
utterly and hopelessly in love with its team.
A few years later it was O'Leary -- same story troubled times and give the
kids a chance.
Again glory and dreams.
Is it all coming around again?
I really feel that it is so. We have new heroes but above all we have Gary
Mac. The man we wanted. The approach to the game that we wanted. The
youngsters that we wanted.
Greatness was always there to be taken.
A great City , great team with the greatest of supporters .
we will get back. Maybe not this time , but one day the dream will come
true.
Look after yourselves.
Michael
