I am sure Lubo will have a part to play this year as well. I think that is one of the main factors this season - we have some balance and width in midfield but we also have competiton for most places - Casper,Becks, Frazer and Robinson are the only ones guaranteed a place in the team - the rest need to play well to keep their position. Rui in his interview on LUTV says himself that Lubo is waiting in the wings and any bad performances from himself or Hunts will let him in, possibly to stay as happened towards the end of last season (Rui also admitted he is not at his best yet) Telfer will also be ready to step in at centre back or full back. Parker will put some pressure on Sheehan this time round. Gardner is not far behind Frazer (although captaincy will protect him for a bit) Becchio and Showumni are fighting for the front spot alongside Beckford. Howson is under pressure from Delph and Kilkenny Prutts under pressure from Hughes and maybe Douglas Snodgrass has Johnson breathing down the necks of the midfield too.(possibly Sweeney too) All in all we seem in a lot better shape than last season with better players in the starting XI Tomorrow can't come soon enough - can't remeber being this excited and ready for an ordinary league game for ages !!
